Meet Tony The Tailor

Fu Shing & Sons is a third generation tailoring business and more!
Business commenced in Shanghai in the 1890's, my grandfather along with my grand aunt's husband Mr. Sze and others in the family started the tailoring business under HK Lao Hai Shing.
As Mr. Sze perfected cutting suits for huge western sizes, he became very famous and attracted loyal following among the expatriate community.  Professional people such as doctors, diplomats, chaplains and famous insurance people like AIA's CV Starr are all his clients. The U.S. Navy is very fond of us also.
The U.S. Navy personnel was good to us; they allowed us to go on board for measurement and tailoring of suits.
Our services were highly appreciated and an article appeared on the Walla Walla - Marine publications.

Past and Present

We at Fu Shing & Sons have been making suits for generations. We always imported our own fabrics and we know our fabric well. We have been able to keep up with innovations on new fabrics and the necessary new accessories like - hair interlinks, shoulder pads etc.
We can advice clients what fabric travel better, what is relatively wrinkle resistant and what hangs well.
Our suit philosophy is everyone must have one or two suits. One I called wedding-funeral, black or dark suit, another will be fun suit.  Lighter color and more trendy. If you don't like two suits, you should have at least a navy colored blazer. You never know when you need it!
For people who wear a suit to work every day, you should have at least five suits and two sports jackets in your closet. The suits should be rotated to make them last.  The suits should be comfortable fitting and not too update like magazines.  Special unique designs are for selling magazines only!  We aim to achieve a timeless classical look.
